Before depart to Bali, Mr.G told me :"hey since we are going to Bali, we MUST try the famous Luwak Coffee!"
And so I said to him :"OK! Let's see how stinky it is. LOL
For you all that is new to Luwak coffee, this is a simple briefing:
Luwak coffee originally is from Sumatra, one of the famous n expensive coffee because of its limited quantity of coffee bean. The reason why it is limited is because the Luwak(some wild cat?) ate the coffee bean and digest and then poo it out(probably because whole bean cannot digest in their stomach). People will then collect it, clean it and further process as coffee bean that being sold in the market.
Hhm... in another way, we are drinking process poo? oh well,, there's also others eating bird's saliva. LOL

After done frying, coffee bean will be left aside for it to cold down before process into coffee powder.

This is how the coffee bean looks like after being fried in the wok
Coffee dripper? I don't really remember the name of this thing.
Fresh Luwak coffee powder being pour into the dispenser
It was quite windy the day we were there until the girl has to use the menu to block the wind so that the fire won't die. LOL
After boiling for awhile, the essence of the coffee then drip to the bottom jar. Soon it will be ready to serve!
Remaining powder being left on the top jar
Luwak Coffee finally being served!
Me having a cuppa too :)
Before having a sip i thought the coffee would taste a bit 'urghh' but it turns out differently. It was so smooth and fragrant. Both Mr.G and I like it. Taste is not too strong. But I think I'll love it better if is Luwak Espresso. More 'kaw'(concentrated) while Mr.G said he likes it that way. What a different taste bud we have.
